Enfin, après des semaines voire des mois d'attente, la première (et on l'espère l'unique) release candidate pour la version 1.6 de Joomla! ® est enfin disponible (à télécharger dans notre section dédiée) p.
Nommée fort justement RC1, cette version est une étape capitale sur le chemin d'une première version stable et définitive, qui soit exploitable sur les sites en production.
Cette version RC1 se destine effectivement encore aux sites de test, puisqu'il faudra attendre la version 1.6.0 - première version officiellement stable - prévue pour le 10 janvier prochain avant d'exploiter Joomla 1.6 et d'en découvrir les bienfaits. Sauf contretemps majeur, bien sûr, auquel cas l'équipe de OSM diffuserait une seconde release candidate, en attendant de corriger
